How I See Colour – 90min – 27 June 2026

€110.00

Underwater, colour is distorted by physics — at least to our eyes. Red disappears first, then orange and yellow. Greens and blues remain. Editing, therefore, is not enhancement. It's reconstruction. A way of returning what has been lost to the naked human eye, but still captured by the sensor. The ocean is not drenched in one colour. Neither should your footage.

What this is

A live, 90-minute colour grading session for those who already know their way around DaVinci Resolve, but want to develop their eye, not just their technique.

This isn't a beginner's course. It's an invitation into how I think — the instincts, the small decisions, the reasoning behind every shift in temperature and contrast that shapes a frame. We'll work with real underwater and nature footage, live, in real time.

What you'll learn

  • How light and colour actually behave underwater, and why that matters for grading

  • Learning from analog photographs

  • My process behind the small, deliberate choices that shift a flat image into something with mood and depth

  • How to develop your own eye, instead of using presets

Details

  • 90 minutes, live on Zoom

  • includes the session recording, yours to keep and revisit

  • Upon purchase, you'll receive a short welcome PDF including zoom code.
