Wooden Tray Frame
No Glass
Hahnemühle® museum quality standard paper framed in untreated, handcrafted, made to order, light, wooden tray frame.
The Fine Art Print is mounted on Dibond and fixed to a tray frame, offering the most sophisticated way to display Fine Art.
It is by far Martina Trepczyk’s preferred method as it avoids using glass. Without glass, the print is immediate. No layer between the art and the admirer. No reflection. The print appears to float within the frame. The gap allows for a drop shadow hence it’s German name Schattenfuge. It is also lighter. This reduces transport costs, CO2 emissions and wall weight. The warm tone of wood enhances the collection's colour palette.

Black Tray Frame
No Glass
Hahnemühle® museum quality standard paper framed in handcrafted, made to order, light, wooden tray frame painted black.
The Fine Art Print is mounted on Dibond and fixed to a tray frame, offering the most sophisticated way to display Fine Art.

Classic Black Frame
with Glass
Hahnemühle® museum quality standard paper framed in handcrafted, made to order, light, wooden, thin frame painted black under standard glass.
The Fine Art Print is inserted betweem a thin frame, offering a very elegant and classic way to display Fine Art.
Martina Trepczyk was first unsure about the use of glass. The wonderful curator and team at Leica convinced her otherwise as it offers a timeless aesthetic and preserves the Print. Standard glass is chosen over Acrylic Glass (synthetically produced petroleum-based thermoplastic product that looks like glass). The production of acrylic harms the environment and ends in landfill after its use. Standard glass is made out of sand and can be recycled. It will reflect surroundings.

Martina Trepczyk’s most recent collection MOMENTUM was showcased in the renowned Leica Gallery, Vienna and consists of 4 photographs.
Martina Trepczyk’s entire collection IN OUR HANDS consists of 20 photographs. Each print (framed or print alone) is available in the sizes and measurements listed above in limited numbers. The edition goes down as size goes up.
Each piece is signed by hand or–if ordered abroad–comes with an official Certificate of Authenticity.
Good to Know
Once a particular edition is sold out, there won’t be any more available. This makes your chosen piece truly unique.
Prices for any given limited edition print may rise as its availability decreases, especially in the bigger sizes. Therefore it pays off to be amongst the first buyers.
Uganda. Bwindi, Impenetrable Forest.
A face from the Land of a Million Smiles – as Ugandans like to call their country – I’ll never forget: A gorilla juvenile.
Only about 1,063 Mountain Gorillas remain in the wild. 459 (according to the last 2019 Gorilla Census) live the Impenetrable Forest—a name that aptly describes the dense, lush jungle they call home. It was unlike anything I’d ever experienced. Photographing them meant navigating mostly low light due to thick vegetation—unless there was a rare opening in the canopy, like here, when the forest suddenly turned sun-drenched. But when everything aligned—light, movement, focus—magic happened.
A reminder that nature truly is both the art and the artist—and my work is merely an attempt to capture it.
